Who we are

Starline News (starlinenews.com) is owned and operated by Innoligo Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company no. 15571813, registered office Lytchett House, 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Poole, Dorset, BH16 6FA. Innoligo Ltd is the data controller for personal information collected through this website, registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under reference ZC174567.

What we collect

• Free call and assessment requests: your name, company, work email, optional phone number, company size, preferred call time, the service you are interested in and any message you write.
• Quote requests: your email and the number of licences you entered.
• Newsletter signups: your email address.
• Call bookings: if you book through our Microsoft Bookings calendar, the details you enter there.
• Emails and calls: anything you send us directly.

The Plan Picker, Quote Builder calculations, Licence Audit demo and games run entirely in your browser. We do not receive what you enter into them unless you submit a form.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To reply to your enquiry, arrange your call and prepare a quote or assessment: to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
• To send the Starline Buyer Brief newsletter: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
• To keep business records and meet legal obligations (for example tax records if you become a client): legal obligation and legitimate interests.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:

• Formspree (form delivery): passes website form submissions to our inbox.
• Microsoft (Microsoft 365 email and Bookings): stores our emails and call bookings.
• Our website hosting provider: serves the website and keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards required by UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become work: up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Client records: for as long as required by law, typically 6 years after the end of the engagement.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

Cookies and similar technologies

Starline News does not use cookies, advertising trackers or analytics. We store a few settings in your browser's local storage to make the site work for you: your text size choice, and your game scores and statistics. This information never leaves your device, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings. Our fonts are hosted on our own website, so no font requests go to third parties.

If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email sales@innoligo.com. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

Security

The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, and forms include protection against automated spam. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need to respond to them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
